HEMATITE, RUTILE

Group of rutile crystals showing an epitaxial growth on hematite. Rutile occurs as needles and prisms, on the hematite, showing golden and yellowish tones. They grow in a radial shape on the brilliant hematite. A classical epitaxy. THE MAIN CRYSTAL IS: 4.3 x 4.1 x 0.4 cm.
