ELBAITE, MICROCLINE, QUARTZ

A very aesthetic specimen formed of several elbaite crystals of good size, translucent to transparent, showing a marked yellow-green color zoning. The terminal faces form a very unusual rhombohedral termination, slightly detached from the main prism and displaying a delicate pinkish hue. The crystals are set on a matrix of microcline and quartz. A truly attractive specimen and of a quality superior to what is typically seen from this Moroccan locality.
