COBALTOAN CALCITE

The cobaltoan calcite specimens from Agoudal are a classic of the Moroccan mineralogy. These pieces are really aesthetic due to their intense pink to red color, sometimes with honey tones due to the presence of iron oxides. We observe slightly curved faces and edges, with the shapes of the rhombohedron, negative and positive, especially on terminal faces, with more or less developed prisms. Between transparent to translucent, with a good brilliance. Fluorescence UVC. The main crystal is: 2 x 1,2 x 0,8 cm. 0,79 x 0,47 x 0,32 Inc.
