CALCITE

An unusual specimen from this Asturian mine. It consists of a matrix with fluorite, covered by numerous well-defined scalenohedral calcite crystals, brilliant and with reddish-toned inclusions, most likely due to iron oxides. They are partially sprinkled with baryte crystals. A good-sized and very aesthetic specimen.
