BARITE, QUARTZ

Tabular baryte crystals, of good size, with well defined faces and edges, one of them predominant. With brilliance and an orange patina of iron oxides. They are peppered by small complex octahedral crystals of pyrite altered to goethite. They are disposed very aerially on a matrix with brilliant quartz crystals, hyaline to milky. A very aesthetic and excellent piece for this Cantabrian mine. It belongs from the E. Llorens collection. The main crystal is: 3,7 x 1,2 x 0,2 cm. 1,46 x 0,47 x 0,08 Inc.
