AZURITE

Various idiomorphic azurite crystals are disposed on a goethite matrix. Very defined faces and edges, brilliant, and with the characteristic intense blue color. When light hits them, we can see internal cobalt-blue reflections. They are accompanied by globular aggregates of goethite. On the back side, there is a cavity with small, well-formed malachite and azurite crystals.
