WULFENITE, CALCITE

The wulfenite crystals from the Los Lamentos mine are a classic of Mexican mineralogy. In this specimen, we can observe a rich group of tabular crystals, some of them quite thick, interpenetrated, and with an intense orange color, with good luster and translucence. They are disposed on matrix, with calcite.
