BARITE

Baryte crystals from Cerro Warihuyn are a classic of the Peruvian mineralogy. These specimens show us rich groups of tabular crystals, defined by well-developed pinacoidal forms truncating those of the orthorhombic prisms, giving the specimen an unusual aesthetic among baryte specimens. Transparence, brilliance, with a delicate yellowish tone and forming parallel and book-shape growths or interpenetrating. Strongly fluorescent under UV light (LW-SW) with yellow light emission. A classic with aesthetics for a fine display. The main crystal is: 3,1 x 2,4 x 0,4 cm. 1,22 x 0,95 x 0,16 Inc.
