PYRITE, CALCITE

Very good-sized specimen formed by a large group of pyrite crystals, very brilliant, interpenetrated and presenting complex forms of the cube along with facets of the dodecahedron, octahedron and trapezohedron. They are partially covered by flattened rhombohedral calcite translucent crystals. This calcite stands out for the intense fluorescence it presents under long-wave ultraviolet light.
