FLUORITE, SPHALERITE, PYRITE, TOPAZ

In this specimen we have a combination of different classic species for this Portuguese mine. We can see a well-developed fluorite crystal with cube shapes and polysynthetic growths on the edges. This crystal has bluish to violet tones with some zoning when the light hits it. It is accompanied in the matrix by a complex black aggregate of sphalerite crystals. It is also worth noting the presence of colorless topaz crystals. To give it a touch of brilliance, small golden globules of pyrite on the matrix. The main crystal: 1,9 x 1,5 x 1,3 cm.
