FLUORAPATITE, PYRITE

These fluorapatite crystals, from this classic Portuguese mine, are quite different from the usual ones. They are very thin, as elongated prismatic crystals forming sheaves. They are sprinkled with small pyrite crystals. It is not very common to find them on the market.
