PYRRHOTITE. QUARTZ

A classic of Russian mineralogy, and at the same time of world mineralogy. Dalnegorsk pyrrhotite is well known to collectors, and this specimen is a superb example. We can observe parallel growths of echeloned hexagonal crystals, very well defined and with a characteristic luster. They stand out remarkably on a quartz matrix.
