EPIDOTE

Epidote specimens from this Austrian locality are a classic of European mineralogy. In this specimen, we can observe parallel growths of epidote, with striated prisms and very complex terminal faces. The luster is exceptional, and the green color very intense, clearly visible in the small crystals at the bottom of the specimen. An essential representative for any European collection.
