SPHALERITE, QUARTZ

This good sized specimen shows a very rich group of very well defined sphalerite crystals, with an intense black color and luster. We observe numerous twins and polysynthetic growths, with some crystallographic complexity, but highlighting the forms of the tetrahedron with those of the cube. They contrast on a matrix with quartz crystals. A piece for display. The main crystal is: 4 x 3,9 x 3 cm. 1,57 x 1,54 x 1,18 Inc.
