CUPRITE

A remarkable cuprite specimen composed of several interpenetrating crystals displaying polysynthetic growth patterns on their faces. The lustre is excellent, and in certain areas—under strong illumination— subtle reddish tones can be observed. The piece is of very good size and is highly representative of this Russian locality.
