FLUORAPATITE, ARSENOPYRITE, QUARTZ, SIDERITE, MUSCOVITE, CALCITE

Group of fluorapatite crystals of very good size, with a well-defined hexagonal prism truncated by basal pinacoidal faces, with brilliance and transparence, which allows us to see a marked geometric color zoning. To give it an even more aesthetic touch we can observe a hyaline quartz crystal dotted with small crystals of siderite and muscovite. They are accompanied in the matrix with arsenopyrite and calcite. The main fluorapatite crystal is of a more than considerable size even for this classic Portuguese mine.
