In these azurite specimens, from this classic Mexican locality, several groups of crystals stand out, from tabular to prismatic. Well defined by the faces of the monoclinic prisms and truncated by pinacoidal forms. They have an exceptional brilliance and the intense color characteristic of this species. When the light “falls” on them, we can observe a marked color, thanks to a certain transparence. They are disposed forming rosettes, interpenetrating groups and also as isolated crystals. The main crystal is: 1,8 x 1,4 x 0,9 cm. 0,71 x 0,55 x 0,35 Inc.
