QUARTZ PSEUDOMORPH AFTER CALCITE, QUARTZ

In this sample we have a epimorphic quartz that has grown on escalenohedral calcite crystals, disappeared by dissolution, but preserving forms. To increase its interest some groups of translucent quartz crystals showing complex growths. A really display specimen. THE MAIN CRYSTAL IS: 2 x 0,6 x 0,5 cm.
